The area of Colorado west of my home/studio used to be known for magnificent, uninterrupted views. It is now peppered with many hundreds of natural gas wells and all the changes that have come with the fevered drilling sparked by the Bush-Cheney Administration's energy policies.
For me, the installations I made in these regions have a haunting quality.
